We had a list of food we wanted to try. Unfortunately, we could not find Banana Foster. Sold out every time we tried. ????

Fried Green tomatoes.
King cake. Only made the week of Mardi Gras. It is a pastry with cream cheese and sugar sparkles. YUMMY
Beignets. Donut/turnover thing with powdered icing sugar.
Charbroiled Oysters
1. Boo French Fries. Like poutine but with roast beef and shredded cheese.
2. Boom-Boom Shrimp
3. Crawfish Balls.
Sazerac, New Orleans signature drink. Kim calls it Snarsnak, LOL. One makes your tummy warm, two of these make you giggle, three make it hard to walk, four – we never made it that far, LOL. This picture shows you how much you get in a glass. Not much but it packs a punch. I guess it’s like an old fashioned, but rye instead of bourbon.
