This statement is so true: “What happens in New Orleans stays in New Orleans”.
I somehow removed ALL the pictures on my phone, I have nothing left. No grandkids pictures, no Amanda’s wedding, no Stacey pictures, nada. Even my screen shots folder is gone.
I guess you will just have to experience New Orleans for yourself.
Make sure that as you walk through the different districts you read the plaques on the buildings and on the sidewalks. Very informative. Go to Preservation Hall and listen to some of the world’s best jazz musicians. Experience the different live bands at different pubs, enjoy the food and the atmosphere. The architecture is breathtaking, take time out to really study the iron work on the balconies and fences.
With that said I think my technology skills should be studied by the scientific community because even Mark is baffled on how I did what I did. ????????????
Here are a few pictures that I did get from Mark. My biggest tip for you would be to pay for a guided tour. We tried self-guided walking and driving tours and they were all a failure except for the Slave Tour. The buildings, streets, etc have been renamed/restored and we ended up very confused.
