Atlanta – March 17th, 2022

The 4 Amigos are flying home for a month or so.  IRS and Homeland Security only allow you to be in the United States for 6 months in a 12-month period, we would be cutting it close if we stayed.  We are storing our rigs and vehicles and flying out of Atlanta. We will meet up again at Talladega April 20th. Yep, Nascar is in town then.

When we look at the blogs we have posted, it’s amazing what we have been able to experience.  This first leg of our trip was the “relaxing” part, lol.
Vince and Kim’s highlight was New Orleans.  They may not return but it will always be memorable. Mark’s highlight was driving the cars in Las Vegas, then live music in New Orleans, Memphis and Nashville.
Laureen can’t pinpoint one place or activity. South Padre Island is a place she would return to in the warmer months.  She’d join the Turtle Patrol. ???? Nashville would be great to go back to as a girl’s trip. ???????? Yuma definitely but try dry camping ⛺ in Quartzite for a month.  She thinks she would have to vote New Orleans Mardi Gras as her #1.  The crowds, the throw aways at the parades and the food.
Writing the blog has been fun.  It’s quite a bit of work but definitely worth it. Thank you, Bonita, for giving us the idea. Hope you have been enjoying it as well.  We will meet again in Talladega!
PS We put 13,704 km on the truck this trip.  A little less on the trailer.
