Corpus Christi

We spent 2 nights at the Padre Island National Seashore Park Campground.

Dry camping, but there was a dump and water station.
Mark and Vince did a little more RV work on our unit.  Somewhere along the way we lost the black tank (poop) pull rod and handle to empty the tank. It was an easy fix, but the first time Mark used it the plastic handles broke off.  Need to get metal knob things.
The guys went to the USS Lexington, an aircraft carrier.  Mark will blog that.
The ladies went to the Texas State Aquarium.  The aquarium moto is Rescue, Rehabilitate, and Release.  The animals here cannot be released safely into the wild. We really enjoyed the dolphin show.  It’s nice to know they don’t have to perform to get fed. They perform because they want to.
Watching the turtles walk was really neat.  Yep, I love turtles.

The otters were fun to watch.

Underwater Pavillion held the majority of my attention.  Fascinating creatures.
“Petted ” a shark and a sting ray.
Other interesting creatures.

Ha ha. I read Jellyfish, not sting rays. I was shocked you touched one.
