Activities around the RV Park

Bingo (Dabber).

$4 for a sheet of 6.  $0.50 for the larger cards (2 Chances I think it’s called). $0.25 for cry baby cards.
I have never played a lot of those games, so it was quite interesting and a little bit hard ???? ????

Card Bingo

$1, 6 × $0.25, 6 × $0.10.
You deal yourself 13 cards face up in front of you.  As your card is called you turn it over.  When all cards are flipped you yell bingo.  They play a $0.10 game, then a $0.25 game, then repeat 6 times.
The last game is the $1.00 game. It’s a fun way to spend a couple of hours.
Laureen tried her hand at wood working.
Done carving, now to stain.

Finished project.  It took 14.5 hours.

Shuffleboard is quite fun.  Mark seems to be a natural.  Laureen not so much.

Into the kitchen Vince.  Oops.

Oops,  what did I just do?

The only time Laureen was ahead.

Sip and Paint night.
Kim and I really enjoyed this.  Kim is a natural, Laureen had fun ????
Mind you my Alpaca turned out cute. $20 for 3 hours of fun.

Kim’s is the smaller one.  Beautiful.

Pickle Ball lessons.  I have heard from many people that this is a really fun game.  Play once and you will be addicted.  Yep, they were correct.  Mark and I took a Pickle Ball lesson to learn the basics.  Great instruction.
The resort put on a “Land Cruise” and Laureen participated. Day 1 was a sailing-away party at the pool, and you got 1 free drink.  Day 2 was port of entry where you sampled food and drinks from that country.  Mexico (tostados and margarita), Italy (pizza and limoncello), Germany (beer and bratwurst), Canada (Caesars and shrimp) and Hawaii (mai tai and fruit skewer).  We went to different host sites, and you had a 2-hour period to get your passport stamped.  There were a few questionable drivers on golf carts and bikes after that ????.
Day 3 was Antarctica where you had to find 5 Humpback whales and 1 Orca whale. This scavenger hunt took you around the resort where you had to find clues then solve them to find the correct whale.  Day 4 was last night on the ship, where they hosted a concert by a band called Ship Happens.  It was the first time the resort tried this, and I think it was a hit.
Overall, I enjoyed the RV Park. One month isn’t long enough to find a group of like-minded friends, or maybe it was because of the pandemic, or because we were with another couple and didn’t have to try?  Not sure I am ready for this to be my retirement destination yet.

You are too kind. When you see it in person you will be able to see all the little wood hairs and mistakes. Fun activity though.
