St. John’s, NL May 26th and 27th

We rented the top floor of a house for the 5 days here in St John’s.  The owners were very welcoming.

Fun sights.
Beautiful Landscape
Signal Hill.
Night views.
Johnston Geo Center (Below Signal Hill).
Mark was very interested in the rocks and understanding how the earth has changed over the billions of years.
Laureen not so much.
She basically played in the kid’s section.
Cape Spear.
Most eastern point of land in Canada.
113 steps to reach 3/4’s of the way up. Couldn’t go any farther due to construction.
Getting Screeched-in at O’Reillys pub. Are we really going to do this?

Yep, we did.  Due to Covid we had to kiss the frozen cod through a plastic bag. Not quite the same.

We couldn’t stop at just one though, lol.
George Street is like a little Beale Street in Nashville.  Multi-Level bars with music.  We were too early to see the real action, 11pm to 4am is the time to visit.
